Wallace Jennings III
Wallace H. Jennings III is a lifetime member of APIO and began his career with the NRCS in 2008 at the American Samoa Field Office in Pago Pago, AS. He is a cadre instructor for the Working Effectively with AA/NHPI Producers Course and a past president of APIO. He has worked in the state of Oregon as a planner since 2009 when he began as a SCEP student intern and has worked in many counties throughout the Beaver State. A Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander, he owns and operates a catering company, Island Time Catering (ITC) which was launched in 2016. He offers his passion for art and cooking with educate through the experience of his culinary cooking classes. Wallace graduated from New Mexico State University in 2010 with a degree in Agriculture and Community Development, a recipient of the Sam Steel Award, he owes a great deal to APIO for being a great resource to his success in academia. When he is not working or managing ITC, he is spending quality time with his family of 5 exploring the Pacific Northwest.
